The Trek With Bek Project encourages ancestral veneration, Black Women Advocates for Black Teen Girls, Black Women Undergraduate Scholars, Black Women Professionals (elders/role models/ connected sisterhoods) and the community (the village) to come together to address water sanitation & access issues locally & globally.
The Water Topics & Problem Solving Activities (Rural Ghana) projects specifically promotes the involvement of Black Teen Girls & Black Women Advocates ( Mothers, Teachers, Women Non Profit & Community Leaders, Women Scholars, Women Professionals etc.) as a support system and co-participants.
Strategizing water solutions for Africa and the African Diaspora requires empowering teamwork.

Overview of Location
Ghana is located in West Africa situated between the Ivory Coast (Cote D’ivoire) and Togo with Burkina Faso located above. Accra is the capital city of Ghana. Over 30 million people call Ghana home. Over 250 different languages & dialects are spoken across its 16 administrative regions. The food, resilient energy of the people and cultural richness are interwoven into a welcoming vibe that has persevered pass a turbulent yet triumphant history. Ghana is vibrant, biodiverse and positioned for continued greatness throughout the cities & rural areas.
